lyrics

Here's a toast to my weekends with you.
I'm stuck at home, while you sail away on a cruise.
I'm sick of eating gin and spaghetti, forget it already.
The ocean holds my memories of the waves.
Salty, and crashing in my face.

I've been watching you.
I've been waiting for your call again.
Followed you home, just to see what's happening.

Dimly lit bedroom that I come home to.
Getting high through communication.
I didn't need a friend,
except to find my confidence.

I swear I'll be good.
Feel my knees bow.
Feel misunderstood.
My broken hand and your aching heart.
I would not trade it I would not restart.
I swear Ill be good
